Split tips

Splitting a tip between multiple people has never been easier

Sometimes you want to tip two or more people at the same time. Maybe you've had a lesson with two awesome instructors? Maybe you want to tip the tour guide and the coach driver? This is where cashless tipping can be easier than paying with cash...

Want to split a cash tip between multiple people? Not easy unless you have change...

tippl makes it easy to split a tip between multiple people. Simply click the "Add another person?" button. You'll be taken to a page where you can select another individual from the same company. You only need to make one payment, we'll do the hard work of splitting things for you. Remember, the tip will be split between the people you select — the payment amount that you enter is the total amount to pay.

Split tips are available on all of our plans. It's up to the individual employer whether or not they enable split tips, so if you don't see the "Add another person?" button it is most likely because the employer has chosen not to enable split tips.

Tippl. Cashless tipping, made simple.

Adam is an engineer who enjoys a good adventure, and lately he has started to become an expert in all things tipping. After a series of separate adventures with great guides where he found it difficult to pay a tip he decided to create tippl. The aim is to make it easier to pay tips to awesome people who have been passed over, or who are missing out, now that society is moving away from cash.
